WhatsApp Desktop Beta will soon let you select multiple chats: Heres how that can be helpful

Whatsapp will soon let you select multiple chats which is a new feature that is currently under development. Now, according to WaBetaInfo, Whatsapp is also working on a new feature that can help users exercise more control over their chat list.

WhatsApp Select Chat feature: What does it do?

Whatsapp is working

Whatsapp is always striving to improve its native apps for macOS and Windows, bringing new features for desktop/web clients. The global messaging app wants to now help users improve how they can manage their chat list via a new feature that lets you select multiple chats.

WaBetaInfo shared a screenshot that details how this works. There is a new ‘Select Chats’ action that has appeared within the chat menu. This is not visible to the masses yet as the feature has not been rolled out fully. After selecting multiple conversations, users can easily mark them as unread or read. This can be done quite easily on WhatsApp Desktop, where it’s always been a little complicated to perform such actions.

WhatsApp Select Chat feature: Availability

This new feature that will allow you to select multiple chats is currently under development. It will be available to everyone after a future update of WhatsApp Desktop beta. At this point, there is no confirmation regarding when this will be released.
