Samsung Galaxy S23 tipped to launch via Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event on February 1

There have been plenty of reports indicating that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will launch on February 1,  2023. The date has been corroborated by popular tipsters and leakers like Ice Universe, OnLeaks and Max Jambor. The launch may extend to February 2 in some countries due to differences in time zones.

It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will have an in-person launch most likely called Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023. This means that it is likely to happen at an event where someone can walk audiences through the smartphone’s new offerings. Ticketing services associated with an event have already gone live, and they indicate that there will be an event in San Francisco and London.

Recently, Samsung Galaxy S23 dummies were released online. The dummies showed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have the largest display (6.8-inch screen) along with a 200MP camera. The Samsung Galaxy S23 will have a 6.1-inch display while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus will have a 6.3-inch display.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones. Additionally, Apple might also include 5G connectivity in next year’s iPhone models. Previously, a report speculated that Apple might introduce VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) ToF sensors on the rear of the 2020 iPhone models. The setup is similar to the TrueDepth camera setup found on the current iPhone models, but on the front.
