Tecno Phantom X2 India sale to take place on Jan 9: Pre-booking, specs, and other details

Tecno India has revealed the pre-booking and sale dates of its upcoming smartphone called Tecno Phantom X2. It’s a 5G phone powered by MediaTek Dimesity 9000 processor. The phone go on sale via Amazon. So, now that we know where it will be available through and when, let’s learn more about the device itself.

Tecno has equipped the Phantom X2 with a 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with an embedded fingerprint reader and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. There is a punch hole cutout in the middle that houses a 32MP selfie shooter. 

The rear cameras include a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP token sensor.

The internals of the Phantom X2 consists of a Dimensity 9000 SoC, along with up to 8GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5160 mAh battery with 45W charger support.

Tecno Phantom X2 could boot with Android 12 based HiOS software. 

It could bring connectivity options like WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB-C 2.0 port.

You could pre-book the Tecno Phantom X2 starting Jan 2 and finally on Jan 9, the phone will be available through Amazon India. The likely color choices would be Stardust Gray and Moonlight Silver.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones. Additionally, Apple might also include 5G connectivity in next year’s iPhone models.
