Samsung Galaxy A14 4G to ditch Exynos and be about 2000 more affordable than the 5G model

Samsung Galaxy A14 4G is going to launch soon in India. We have the expected launch date and also the likely specs and price tag it could come in with. As per SamInsider, it is reportedly shipping with a MediaTek chip (not Exynos) and could be ₹2000 cheaper than the 5G variant. Here are the complete details.

Samsung could bring the 4+64GB model of Galaxy A14 4G for ₹13,999 and the 4+128GB variant for ₹14,999. 

With launch offers, the price could be even lower.

Also, the source doesn’t seem to think the 6+128GB model is going to come to India.

As for the launch date, the report suspects it could come in this week although the brand is yet to say or hint anything about this.

On the front, the A14 could be housing a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a v-shaped notch. 

Within the cutout, you could get a 13MP selfie snapper capable of shooting at 1080p 30fps.

The back of the phone, meanwhile, houses a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro module. Again, the video recording is up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Inside the A14, there could be a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with up to 4+128GB memory. The device could also support expandable storage via a microSD card.

For keeping the lights on, there could be a 5000mAh battery backed by 15W charging support.

The phone could have a glass front and a plastic back. It could come in any, if not all of the following colours — Black, Dark Red, Silver, and Green.

The rest of the repertoire could consist of USB-C 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones.
