BGMI 25 update is live but you may still have to wait before you can play it

Battlegrounds Mobile India servers are live starting today and so you could finally get to play BGMI update 2.5 on iOS and Android. This version brings a new Nusa map, in-game events and a lot more. However, not all of us will be able to play it right away. Here’s the reason:

BGMI is back but with some conditions

In its announcement, Krafton says the rollout is taking place in a staggered manner and so players will be able to login in phases. In 48 hours, all players in India should be able to play it.

But, again, there are certain restrictions that will limit the experience for some players. For example, players under the age of 18 years will be allowed to play for 3 hours while the rest will get to play for 6 hours.

And here’s what new you can experience in this BGMI update.

BGMI 2.5 update: What’s new

BGMI

1.  New map called Nusa which is 1x1 in size and should take about 8 minutes to complete. It is situated in a tropical zone with a resort, zorb balls, a swimming pool, combustible buildings, and destructible jars.

2. You can quickly move around thanks to new travel modes like zip lines, elevators, and quad bikes. The latter is a two-seater off-road ATV suited for uneven terrain.

3. A cool new addition to the gameplay is Super Recall whereby players who die get to jump back in the game within a certain time period. This feature is available in duo and squad modes. If you are playing solo, you can be respawned automatically without somebody else ‘recalling’ you. When they are recalled, they will be wielding a random weapon.

4. BGMI 2.5 brings new weapons like a tactical crossbow, fire arrows, and shotguns.
