Redmi Note 10 receives BIS certification, hinting at an imminent launch

India may soon see a Redmi Note 10 launch as the phone recently passed through BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification. A Xiaomi phone with model number M2101K7AI was spotted on the BIS listing and is believed to be the Redmi Note 10.

A phone with a similar model number M2101K7AG recently appeared on the US FCC listing. The BIS listing was spotted by 91Mobiles and hints that the phone is expected to arrive in Indian markets by February, while the company has not shared any details about the phone or any release date for that matter. The FCC listing revealed key specifications of the phone and revealed that the phone will come with dual-band Wi-Fi.

As per the previous reports, the phone is expected to come with a Snapdragon 732G SoC, with a 6.53-inch 120Hz Display and 64MP quad-rear camera setup. It will also be powered by a 5,050mAh battery and will come in 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB RAM and storage variants.

Redmi Note 10 could launch in February

The Redmi Note 10 Pro had also passed through BIS certification last month, and it could launch alongside the Redmi Note 10 in February. The Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro may run MIUI 12, based on Android 11, and come with both 4G and 5G variants in the country. The Redmi Note 10 Pro will launch in 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB configurations.

Lastly, the Redmi Note is touted to come in three-colour variants namely White, Grey, and Green colours while the Note 10 Pro might come with Blue, Bronze, and Grey colour options.
