iPhone SE Plus price, and specs leaked online

A new leak suggests that an iPhone in Apple’s SE portfolio is in the works. The phone is being dubbed as the iPhone SE Plus and could be the successor to the iPhone SE (2020) (review) that was introduced last year in April.

A tipster on Twitter by the name @apple_lab has revealed details about the rumored iPhone SE Plus. The tweet even shows a rendered image of the phone. In the rendered image we can see that the phone does not come with a home button at the bottom, which is a welcoming change from the iPhone SE that was released in 2020 that has a physical button and a large chin and forehead bezels.

According to the tweet, the phone will come in Black, Red, and White colours and will feature IP67 water and dust certification. The front side of the phone will house a 6.1-inch IPS display and could be powered by either the A13 or A14 Bionic chip. It is expected to feature a 12MP iSight sensor, whereas the selfie camera is tipped to feature a 7MP sensor.

The iPhone could feature a Touch ID sensor integrated with the power button but this is not yet confirmed. Coming to the price of the device it is expected to retail around $499 (Roughly Rs. 36,500 directly converted). The tipster did not share any details about the launch of the phone but one can speculate that the device could launch sometime in April same as the iPhone SE (2020) last year.
