Vivo V20 Pro could launch on December 2 for Rs 29,990 in India

Vivo V20 Pro could finally launch on December 2 in India according to the latest rumour. The V20 Pro was expected to release sometime in December and it seems like the phone will be announced early on next month. The V20 Pro completes the trio in the V20-series in India. The V20 lineup has already launched globally with the V20 getting announced in October in India with a 44MP selfie camera and was followed by the V20 SE in early November.

According to a tweet by Tushar Mehta of XDA Developers, the V20 Pro could launch on December 2 in India. Furthermore, Vivo has officially announced that the V20 Pro is coming soon and shows off the phone in two colours.

Previous reports have also leaked the price of the upcoming phone and the V20 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs 29,990 in India. Additionally, the V20 Pro is allegedly up for pre-booking by offline retailers. The phone goes up against the likes of the OnePlus Nord that currently sells starting at Rs 24,999 and is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor that also powers the V20 Pro.

There is no official word on the exact launch date of the V20 Pro in India. Since the V20 Pro was launched in Thailand back in September, specifications of the phone are already out in the open.

Vivo V20 Pro specifications

Vivo V20 Pro features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display that uses an AMOLED panel. There is a wide notch upfront that houses the two selfie cameras and the screen is also home to a fingerprint reader.

The phone measures 7.49 millimetres in thickness and weighs 170 grams. The back panel is made from AG Matte Glass that has a matte finish which makes it fingerprint-resistant.

The V20 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on FuntouchOS 11 which is based on Android 10.

Vivo V20 Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the back that consists of a primary 64MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there is a primary 44MP selfie camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 105-degree field-of-view.

The V20 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging out-of-the-box. It is available in three colours-- Sunset Melody, midnight Jazz and Moonlight Sonata colours.

Jio effect: Bharti Airtel may soon shut down 2G, 3G and shift on 4G-only network

Taking a cue from Reliance Jio which offers only 4G network, Bharti Airtel is looking to transform it current setup to become the second 4G-only network provider in India.
