Boat Smart Ring specifications tipped: Would you buy a Smarting over Smartwatch

Boat confirmed its new category of products a while back, which is Smart Ring. The Smart Ring is exactly what it sounds like. Just like smartwatches, it can be used to track your health status. You can also wear it to gear up your fashion game, and some people prefer to wear rings and not wrist watches, so this could be a great thing for them. Additionally, you can use it daily as it comes with 5 ATM water and sweat resistance.

Mukul Sharma, a known tipster, has provided some details of the boAt Smart Ring on X (formerly Twitter). The pictures in the tweet described its specifications. As I mentioned above, the Smart Ring is set to incorporate multiple health sensors commonly seen on smartwatches. It features a heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and even a period tracker. Intriguingly, there's a possibility that it might also offer compatibility with a body temperature monitoring feature.

This incident, which is one part funny and two parts scary, makes it clear that Google’s Knowlege Graph may not be as sacrosanct as you may have believed.  Hristo Georgiev was informed by a former colleague that a Google search of his name returned a Google Knowlege Graph that depicted his photo and linked it to a Bulgarian rapist and serial killer of the same name, also known as ‘The Sadist’, who murdered five people back in the 1970s and was later executed by shooting.  The graph linked the info to a Wikipedia article, which incidentally had no link to any of Georgiev’s profile or his image. It was Google’s algorithms that erroneously matched the two. What’s even more problematic is that Hristo Georgiev is not a unique name and is shared by hundreds of other people.  As...
