Sennheisers new AMBEO lineup, the AMBEO Soundbar Plus and AMBEO Sub launched in India

Sennheiser has taken the step to expand its AMBEO lineup by launching two new speakers in the Indian Market. The company has launched the Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Plus, world’s first 7.1.4 standalone speaker, according to Sennheiser, and AMBEO Sub. If you were looking out for a premium speaker to connect your TV with or want to impress your friends on some occasion, check out these two speakers. Here are the specifications.

The AMBEO Soundbar Plus comes with good audio output and doesn't take much of your space. It comes with a 3D sound experience that has been developed in collaboration with the esteemed Fraunhofer-Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS). The soundbar also features AMBEO Self-Calibration, which strategically positions seven virtual speakers around the listener, along with four more overhead. This eliminates the need for extra cables or satellite speakers.

The Soundbar Plus also boasts features like Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, 360 Reality Audio, and MPEG-H Audio. You can even transform stereo and 5.1 content into captivating 3D sound.

AMBEO Soundbar Plus runs on AMBEO|OS, which enables users to use Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect. Further, it also supports voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri

Next up, we have the AMBEO Sub, powered by AMBEO virtualization technology, it delivers intense and deep bass, and for the premium performance it boasts 8-inch proprietary woofer and 350-watt Class-D amplifier. The AMBEO Sub also offers advanced self-calibration and a Smart Control App.

Talking about the prices, the AMBEO additions are available in India on various platforms like Sennheiser's official webshop, Amazon.in, and other leading electronic outlets. The AMBEO Soundbar Plus can be grabbed at a price of ₹1,39,990. On the other hand, the other device, AMBEO Sub is launched at a price of ₹69,990.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones. Additionally, Apple might also include 5G connectivity in next year’s iPhone models. Previously, a report speculated that Apple might introduce VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) ToF sensors on the rear of the 2020 iPhone models. The setup is similar to the TrueDepth camera setup found on the current iPhone models, but on the front. Ming Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst, has also predicted that Apple might bring ToF sensors to its 2020 iPhone lineup.
