Here are 5 leaked iPhone 15 series features that we know of so far

iPhone 15 series has been in the limelight when it comes to leaks and rumours. The upcoming Apple lineup will be launched in the second half of this year and it might come with a whole new different design as the tech-giant changes iPhone’s design after three generations. Similarly, there are many rumours leaked on the internet, let’s have a look at them. The Apple iPhone 15 will essentially be the successor to the iPhone 14.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max to feature Periscope lens

A report by MacRumors suggests that iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to launch with a Periscope lens which can zoom the picture up to 5-6x.

A Periscope lens works in a similar way to its traditional optical instrument counterpart. It allows light to travel a longer distance, enabling the camera to take high-quality photos with high magnification without sacrificing the phone's size.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro to feature Taptic buttons

A tipster known as chenwen1987 has leaked the CAD files which reveal that the company might introduce a solitary button for controlling the volume in the iPhone 15 Pro, instead of having separate buttons for increasing and decreasing the volume as found in their earlier models. The new button, namely Taptic, will be able to sense pressure and register volume adjustments without requiring any physical movement.

Apple iPhone 15 series might feature USB Type-C Port

The iPhone 15 series is expected to launch with the USB Type-C Port instead of its Lightning Port. This might happen to comply with a new European law that requires all electronic devices to have USB-C-type ports.

Apart from that, the company could also make the bezel slimmer and the smartphones will reportedly have more curved edges.

iPhone 15 and the bigger variant iPhone 15 Plus will likely be equipped with Apple’s A16 chipset and the Pro models could boast the A17 chip paired with increased RAM. There are rumours circulating that the A17 Bionic chipset will be based on 3nm technology, which is expected to make it both more powerful and more energy-efficient compared to previous chipsets.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro variants price hike

A known analyst, Jeff Pu, has suggested that Apple iPhone 15 Pro models might see a price hike this year in comparison to iPhone 14 Pro models because of the changes Apple is making in the smartphones which include an A17 chipset, Titanium Frame, Periscope lens and more.
