Infinix Note 12i launched in India with exclusive offer for Jio users

Infinix has launched its latest budget offering in India, the Infinix Note 12i. The Infinix Note 12i 

has been launched in India at a price of Rs 9,999 onwards excluding all discounts. The smartphone has been launched with an AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and more. The Infinix Note 12i will go on sale starting January 30, along with a special offer for Jio customers.

The Infinix Note 12i has been launched in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 in the country, without factoring-in the discount for Reliance Jio users. The smartphone will go on sale starting January 30 and will be sold via Flipkart. With the Infinix Note 12i, Reliance Jio users also get an additional Rs 1,000 cashback as part of the Jio Exclusive Program.

Coming to specifications, the Infinix Note 12i has been launched with a 6.71-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of claimed peak brightness. The display also comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Further, the Infinix Note 12i is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. 

Apart from this, the Infinix Note 12i comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 50-megapixel shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a third lens. Up front, the Infinix Note 12i comes with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, which also includes a dual LED flash. Further, there is a 5,000mAh battery on the Infinix Note 12i with support for 33W fast charging. Other features on the Infinix Note 12i include a DTS dual speaker system, an immersive gaming system with the latest graphic enhancement features and a Dar-Link 2.0 Game Boost technology that optimises the RAM and GPU for enhanced gaming performance.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones. Additionally, Apple might also include 5G connectivity in next year’s iPhone models. Previously, a report speculated that Apple might introduce VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) ToF sensors on the rear of the 2020 iPhone models. The setup is similar to the TrueDepth camera setup found on the current iPhone models, but on the front. Ming Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst, has also predicted that Apple might bring ToF sensors to its 2020 iPhone lineup. In the latest research note shared by 9to5Mac, Kuo claims that at least two of the 2020 iPhone models could feature a ToF sensor on the rear. Furthermore, Kuo added that Apple might introduce three iPhone models next ye
