HP has launched a new line of HP Envy x360 15 laptops, specifically designed for content creators. These laptops feature a 15.6-inch OLED touch display that can be adjusted for various use cases. The laptops are equipped with up to 12th Gen Intel Core EVO i7 processors and integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

1. Display features

The HP Envy x360 15 laptops feature a 15.6-inch OLED touch display that has been 100% DCI P3 colour calibrated and is Eyesafe Certified. The display claims improved latency and greater sensitivity, providing smooth transitions between colours for finer details when writing, drawing, or editing with the magnetic pen attachment. 

The laptops also have a high 88% screen-to-body ratio, providing more screen real estate and reducing the need for scrolling. Additionally, the display is VESA Trueback HDR 500 enabled, providing more vibrant colours and deeper hues.

The HP Envy x360 15 laptops are touch and convertible, offering flexibility in any position. 

2. Creator-focussed features

HP Envy x360 15 features a 5MP camera for high-quality video calls and IR face recognition technology for easy login. The laptops also come with auto frame technology to keep the user in focus during video calls, as well as a physical camera shutter for privacy. 

HP QuickDrop allows for smooth file transfer, and the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen features a magnetic connection for easy accessibility.

The keyboard includes an emoji menu and a dedicated key for faster expression.  The HP Palette software is pre-installed, including Concepts for sketching and HP Photo Match for quickly finding and organizing photos.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones.
