Samsung Galaxy F13 Launching In India On June 22, 2022

Samsung India is going to launch the Galaxy F13 on June 22, 2022. The company has started teasing the smartphone details through a Flipkart microsite. From it, we learn that the new Galaxy phone will be carrying a 6000mAh power cell inside, 8GB RAM (with virtual RAM), and an FHD+ LCD panel with a waterdrop notch. But other than this we have gathered a few more likely features of the device. Let’s have a look.

Samsung could equip the F13 with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and an Infinity-V cutout. Within this, an 8MP selfie shooter is presumed to be present.

On the back of the phone, you could get a 50MP leader followed by a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor.

The fingerprint scanner could be part of the power key on the right-hand side.

Unlock it, and you could be welcomed by Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software. This could be laid on top of an Exynos 850 chipset coupled with 4GB onboard memory (and 4GB RAM Plus), 64GB/128GB storage, and a 6000mAh battery with 15W charging. Among other things, the phone also features auto-data switching, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, etc.

Now since the launch is scheduled for June 22 at 12 noon, we are likely to get more details in the days leading up to it.

Many of us have come to heavily rely on Google Search and often don’t question the veracity of information Google cherry-picks from the vast data available on the world wide web for its search cards. This incident, which is one part funny and two parts scary, makes it clear that Google’s Knowlege Graph may not be as sacrosanct as you may have believed.  Hristo Georgiev was informed by a former colleague that a Google search of his name returned a Google Knowlege Graph that depicted his photo and linked it to a Bulgarian rapist and serial killer of the same name, also known as ‘The Sadist’, who murdered five people back in the 1970s and was later executed by shooting.  The graph linked the info to a Wikipedia article, which incidentally had no link to any of Georgiev’s profile or his image.
