Nothing Phone 1 Launch Scheduled For July 12: What To Expect

Carl Pei’s Nothing has revealed the launch date of its first smartphone called Phone (1) on July 12, 2022, at 16:00 BST (8:30 PM IST). It will be showcased as part of the “Return to Instinct” event. Ahead of this day, let us go through everything we know about the first Nothing phone.

Nothing phone 1 price in India

Starting off with the design, Nothing Phone (1) is confirmed to adorn a transparent chassis, quite like the ear (1). The company apparently “wanted to bring the inside out”. The glass sandwich will be held together by a recycled aluminium frame.

As per the company’s design chief, “There are over 400 components in a smartphone, assembled in layers. We wanted to celebrate the “good ones”, the things we thought were really interesting to emphasize”. So, we could get to see the wireless charging coil and the cameras.

Nothing phone launch

The Nothing Phone (1) cameras could be a 50+8+2MP setup on the back and a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The frontier could be a  6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ support.

Inside the phone, we are also expecting Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 4500mAh battery with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and Android 12.

Facebook to shut down standalone gaming app in Oct

New Delhi, Aug 31 (IANS) Meta is winding up its standalone Facebook Gaming app on both Android and iOS from October 28. The app will also be not available on Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Meta did not elaborate on why it is shuttering the standalone gaming app. "Despite this news, our mission to connect players, fans and creators with the games they love hasn't changed, and you'll still be able to find your games, streamers and groups when you visit Gaming in the Facebook app," reads a banner on its website.
