OnePlus 10R with Dimensity 8100 SoC expected to launch on April 28 alongside Nord CE 2 Lite and Nord Buds

OnePlus has teased the launch of two new smartphones and TWS earbuds in India on April 28 at 7 PM. These are believed to be the OnePlus 10R, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, and OnePlus Nord Buds based on the design similarities of the silhouettes on the teaser image to the leaks and rumors of the aforesaid devices we have come across before. We will be referring to the rumor mill for knowing more about all three items. However, a new tidbit we have learned from a recent report by 91Mobiles is that the OnePlus 10R would be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset.

Well, the OnePlus India chief Navnit Nakra has revealed to the publication that the “upcoming OnePlus R series flagship device will be based on the Dimensity 8000 series.” And from previous reports, this is assumed to be nothing but Dimensity 8100.

Here’s the rest of what is expected from the device:

OnePlus 10R Specs and Features (Rumored)

OnePlus 10R leaked renders

OnePlus 10R is likely to flaunt a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, it may also seat a 16MP selfie camera within a central punch hole.

The leaked renders show us its rear side has a vertical rectangular island with three camera lenses. The leader of the lot is said to be a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor (with OIS), and it is backed by an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro module.

Under the hood, the 10R could be packing a Dimensity 8100 as mentioned in the beginning. The software on top maybe Android 12 based Oxygen OS.

The phone is expected to come in 4500mAh+150W as well as 5000mAh+80W battery plus charging speed combinations.

Now do take them with a proverbial grain of salt until verified by the company.

What if a botched Google search card says you are a serial killer

Many of us have come to heavily rely on Google Search and often don’t question the veracity of information Google cherry-picks from the vast data available on the world wide web for its search cards. It was Google’s algorithms that erroneously matched the two. What’s even more problematic is that Hristo Georgiev is not a unique name and is shared by hundreds of other people.  As...
