OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 Lite camera details revealed in new leak

OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 Lite key specifications have leaked yet again, this time giving us a brief look at the cameras. The OnePlus 9 series is rumoured to be launched by mid-March and the new leak reveals some more details about the affordable OnePlus 9 phone dubbed as the OnePlus 9 Lite.

According to a report by Techmaniacs, a European news outlet, the OnePlus 9 Pro will have a 48MP primary camera followed by a 64MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera offering upto 3.3x optical zoom. As for the OnePlus 9 Lite, it could have a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. As always, we would advise our readers to take this with a pinch of salt.

The report states that the OnePlus 9 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor and paired with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for the base variant. There’s a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 64MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a telephoto camera with 3.3x optical zoom. 

It is expected to feature a QHD+ (3216 x 1440 pixels) resolution display which uses an AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate going upto 120Hz. As per previous leaks, the display on the OnePlus 9 Pro could measure 6.7-inches with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone could be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. 

The report also says that the cameras have been tuned by Hasselblad which means that an official announcement could happen soon. The rear cameras will also be able to shoot in 8K and 4K UHD at upto 120FPS.

OnePlus 9 Lite leaked specifications

OnePlus 9 Lite is the much-rumoured affordable phone in the series which could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with support for 90Hz refresh rate.

As for the cameras, the leak indicates that the phone has a primary 64MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The battery on the OnePlus 9 Lite is expected to be 5,000mAh

As per earlier leaks, the OnePlus 9 Lite could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor which is not in line with the latest information. OnePlus is yet to reveal any details on the launch of the OnePlus 9 series, but we will keep an eye out for when it happens.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones.
