Jio launches JioExtender6 AX6600 WiFi 6 mesh extender priced at Rs 25,999

Jio has launched a Wi-Fi 6 compatible mesh extender. You can daisy-chain multiple JioExtender6 AX6600 to extend the Wi-Fi range in your house if you need to get Wi-Fi 6 speeds in every corner. The JioExtender6 AX6600 Wi-Fi 6 mesh extender is priced at Rs 25,999 and is listed on Jio’s website.

The JioExtender6 AX6600 Wi-Fi 6 mesh extender supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. Jio claims it offers 4X increase in the network capacity. It supports speeds up to 1Gbps, but users need to be subscribed to the 1Gbps plan. The mesh extender has a compact triangular form factor with all the connectivity options housed at the back. It has two Gigabit Ethernet Ports. It also sports 128MB NAND storage and 256MB RAM. It supports 2.4GHz 570 Mbps (40 MHz), 2X2 + 5GHz: (80MHz) 1200 Mbps for Wi-Fi Devices. 5GHz: 4800 Mbps (160MHz) 4X4 for Mesh connections. The JioExtender6 AX6600 Wi-Fi 6 mesh extender is priced at Rs 25,999. Customers can also avail EMI starting at Rs 1223.86. Users can purchase the device from Jio’s own website, and it will be delivered within 3-5 business days. It comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty and 6 months power adapter warranty.

Facebook to shut down standalone gaming app in Oct

New Delhi, Aug 31 (IANS) Meta is winding up its standalone Facebook Gaming app on both Android and iOS from October 28. The app will also be not available on Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Meta did not elaborate on why it is shuttering the standalone gaming app. "Despite this news, our mission to connect players, fans and creators with the games they love hasn't changed, and you'll still be able to find your games, streamers and groups when you visit Gaming in the Facebook app," reads a banner on its website.
