Apple launched a new iPhone SE earlier this year. The iPhone SE 2022 debuted at Rs. 43,900. However, the company has now reportedly hiked the price by Rs. 6,000. The iPhone SE will thus cost Rs. 49,900 for the 64GB variant, Rs. 54,900 for the 128GB variant and Rs 64,900 for the 256GB model. This pricing pits the iPhone against new competitors from Android phone brands like iQOO, Realme, OnePlus, and more.
iPhone SE 2022 features a 4.7-inch HD Retina display with a Touch ID at the bottom. The design continues to be similar to that of the SE series. The phone carries an A15 Bionic chipset with 4GB RAM and is available in three storage variants - 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB storage. iPhone SE 2022 boots on iOS 15.4 (upgradeable to iOS 16.0.3) and sports a single 12-megapixel rear camera and a 7-megapixel camera on the front for FaceTime.
Now that the iPhone SE will now cost half a lakh in India, customers could also consider the iPhone 12 or even the iPhone 13 at this price. The latest update suggests that iPhone prices in India will increase despite some models produced in India. Customers can buy the OnePlus 10T, Realme GT 2 Pro, and even the Google Pixel 6a and avail of more high-end features by spending this much.
