Oppo has launched a new 4G variant of Reno6 5G (review) that has slightly different specifications and a curvier design as compared to the existing Reno6 5G. In fact, the Reno6 4G is almost identical to the Snapdragon 720G powered Reno5 4G that launched in China towards the end of last year.
This kind of rehashing across markets is quite common in the smartphone realm these days. Compared to the Reno6 5G, the 4G variant gets an upgraded 44MP selfie camera, an additional monochrome sensor on the rear, and slightly slower 50W charging.
Oppo Reno6 4G Price and AvailabilityOppo Reno6 4G is available in Stellar Black and Aurora colour options in Indonesia. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant goes for IDR 5,199,000 (roughly Rs. 26,700) in the country.
Oppo Reno6 4g SpecificationsThe Reno6 4G has the same design as the Reno5 series but the Reno glow finish on the back seems similar to what Oppo uses for the Reno6 series. The phone measures 159.1 x 73.3 x 7.8mm in dimensions and tips the scale at 173 grams.
As mentioned above, the Snapdragon 720G chipset powering the phone is assisted by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Users will have the option to expand storage using a microSD card. The 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and claims a peak brightness of 600 nits.
Biometric unlock options include an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock. As for photography and videography, there is a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MPl macro lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. The selfie camera has a 44-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens.
The Reno6 4G accommodates a 4,310mAh battery with 50W Flash Charge VOOC 4.0 support. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
