You can grab an Apple iPhone SE 2020 as low as Rs 37,399 on Flipkart

The Apple iPhone SE (2020) debuted in India a few months back at a starting price of Rs 42,500 for the 64GB variant. The new iPhone SE is Apple's affordable and compact offering that borrows some traits from the flagship series and some from the older generation iPhones.

If you've been waiting for a deal to grab the new iPhone SE for yourself, you might have just found one. Flipkart is selling the iPhone SE at a discount where you can buy it as low as Rs 37,399. As per the listing, the current price is Rs 40,999 after a discount of Rs 1501. On top of this discount, Flipkart is also offering Rs 3600 instant discount for HDFC Bank credit card and debit cards users on EMI option. In case you don't want to opt for a non-EMI option, you can still avail a Rs 1500 discount by using an HDFC debit card. The offer is valid on Flipkart only during July 24 to 28.

You can avail the HDFC Bank offers on 128GB and 256GB variants as well. The 128GB variant is available at Rs 45,999 and 256GB is available at Rs 55,999. After a discount of Rs 3600, the prices go as low as Rs 42,399 and Rs 52,399 respectively.

Is Apple iPhone SE (2020) at Rs 37,399 is a decent deal?

In terms of performance, iPhone SE (2020) is a power-packed smartphone at this price. It's an ideal fit for those who love a compact form factor without compromising with the performance. If you get into comparison with Android phones, there's a lot that the iPhone SE lacks but what it offers is rare, and a decent fit for iOS enthusiasts who were waiting for a compact and affordable iPhone.

It brings the mix of features like an HDR display, IP67 water-resistance and the, of course, the A13 Bionic processor. It loses the numbers game when it comes to the camera, and also the missing night mode might not sound pleasing to many. Only go for this camera if you do not demand a variety of lenses for smartphone photography.

Like we said in our review, the iPhone SE is a low-cost entry into the iOS ecosystem. You will get a small but good display, a smooth interface with no performance issues, a decent front and rear camera. What you may miss is a fast charging, long battery life, variety of camera lenses, high screen to body ratio.

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones. Additionally, Apple might also include 5G connectivity in next year’s iPhone models. Previously, a report speculated that Apple might introduce VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) ToF sensors on the rear of the 2020 iPhone models. The setup is similar to the TrueDepth camera setup found on the current iPhone models, but on the front.
