Realme 3 Pro goes on sale today: Price, offers, specs and all you need to know

Realme launched its Realme 3 Pro as a Redmi Note 7 Pro competitor. The smartphone is going up on sale today via the company’s own online shop and through online retailer Flipkart. Highlights of the phone include a waterdrop-style notch display design with a glossy rear panel. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and will be available in three variants. The new smartphone goes up against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and others that fall in the same price segment. 

Realme 3 Pro specifications

As mentioned, the Realme 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The handset features a Gorilla Glass 5-protected 6.3-inch Full HD+ display that sports a dewdrop notch and is touted to deliver a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 4045mAh battery that comes with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging support. The device also features the Hyper Boost 2.0 software, which the company claims enhances the phone’s speed and gaming experience. 

In the camera department, the Realme 3 Pro comes equipped with dual-rear cameras. It sports a 16MP + 5MP sensor configuration on the back where the 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor is paired with an f/1.7 aperture lens, while the 5MP sensor has an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, it features a 25MP sensor that is paired with an f2.0 aperture lens, supports AI beautification modes and face unlock.

Realme 3 Pro Sale offers 

The 4GB + 64GB variant of the Realme 3 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999, while the recently announced 6GB + 64GB model will be available for Rs 15,999. There’s also a 6GB + 128GB variant of the handset, which retails for Rs 16,999. The handset comes in Carbon Grey and Nitro Blue colours and as mentioned earlier, will go up for sale at 12 PM today via the Realme online store and Flipkart.

Launch offers on the Realme 3 Pro includes a No cost EMI of up to 6 months, along with Rs 1,000 off for HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Card customers. Jio users will also be able to avail benefits worth Rs 5,300 with the device.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones.
