Redmi to launch Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition: Heres what we know about it

Redmi has announced the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and in addition to that, for all the Potterheads out there, it will launch the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter edition as well. This smartphone could feature Harry Potter themes, a back cover, sound effects and more. 

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition is expected to come with the same specifications as the normal Note 12 Turbo. The specifications of the smartphone are not out yet but the leaks as usual have suggested some specs, let’s have a look at them.

The phone will most likely come with a Harry Potter-themed back panel and feature Harry Potter-related themes, sound effects and more. Apart from that, Xiaomi has confirmed that the bezel of the smartphone will be slimmer than iPhone 14. The Note 12 Turbo is said to feature a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

It is expected to come with a 6.67-inch 12-bit Flexible OLED display with the support of a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel is said to be supported by 68.7 billion colours, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, 1920Hz PWM Dimming, and SGS Low Blue Light, HDR10+and Dolby Vision.

In terms of performance, the words are that it is going to be a gaming-centric phone. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor with up to 16GB RAM and storage of up to 1TB. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to be equipped with a vapour chamber cooling system measuring 3725mm, which should enhance heat dissipation by 35%, and prioritise exceptional performance for gaming. Additionally, the device emphasises durability through its fortified steel attached to the motherboard and its reinforced four-corner design.

The phone will run on MIUI 14 which is based on the Android 13 operating system. Xiaomi has highlighted the software durability of the device, citing an impressively low software failure rate of only 0.005%. To guarantee a dependable and enduring device, the Redmi Note 12 claims to have passed over 300 test scenarios and passed 250,000 hours of extensive stress testing. Xiaomi has pledged to deliver a seamless and uninterrupted software experience for 48 months.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. The smartphone is going to pack a 5000mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging support.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones.
