House of the Dragon Episode 1 leaks on torrent sites, but where to watch it legally

Calling Game of Thrones (GoT) a popular show would be an understatement. Save for a lackluster final season, the show had audiences across the globe hooked on to their seats for its family cum political drama, grand sets, mythical creatures, and a whole lot more. So, now that its prequel series (House of the Dragon aka HotD) is here, the GoT fans must be all excited to see what the showrunners have to offer in this prequel to A Song of Ice and Fire (the book series behind Game of Thrones) by George R. R. Martin. However, as it happens with most popular media on the internet, the first episode of HotD has leaked on torrent websites.

Yes, House of the Dragon S01E01 is available to download on torrent websites in sizes ranging from 262MB to 2.3GB. That includes House of the Dragon 1080P WEBRIP, WEBDL, 720P, and other print qualities. 

However, downloading House of the Dragon torrents isn’t ethical for one as it promotes piracy which is in a way theft of copyrighted content. It also comes with several other issues both morally and legally. Not to mention the risk of infecting your device with malware that may be part of some of these torrent files. 

So, we urge you not to download House of the Dragon from torrent sites. Instead, you can download and watch House of the Dragon legally on these websites (in some cases in better 4K quality):

You can stream new episodes of House of the Dragon in India on Disney+ Hotstar every Monday at 6:30 AM. So, the tentative schedule looks like this:

HBO Max lets you download most movies and shows available on its ad-free plan. So, if it’s an option for HotD, here’s how you do that:

Open the HBO Max app on your smartphone or tablet. Select an episode of House of the Dragon. Click the Download icon and wait for it to finish downloading.

Unfortunately, for users in India, Disney+ Hotstar doesn’t have a download option at the moment.

But, we suppose that isn't going to stop you from watching the show on Hotstar. After all, the early reviews have been positive only.
