Xiaomi’s MI TVs also offer users a stock Android TV experience for those that desire it, but the unique offering is the PatchWall UI which Xiaomi updates with new features on a regular basis. The company has announced a new update to PatchWall 3.0 for all Mi Smart TVs in India.

The PatchWall interface brings together more than 23+ content partners, both Indian and global, with content available in 16+ languages. The new PatchWall update brings 3 new features including an immersive carousel, User Centre and Live TV.

Commenting on the new features, Eshwar Nilakantan, Category head for TV at Mi India, mentioned, “Mi TVs are growing in popularity and preference across all geographies in India and continue to be the best-selling smart TVs in the market. Over the last 2 years, we have worked towards providing the best of hardware and software to our users and introduced features that truly amplify their content and user experience. Mi TV PatchWall was the first to introduce a Live TV section with Live News and now are happy to extend that to linear channels. By bringing features such as Immersive Carousel, User Centre, Live TV among others, we are looking at offering a more personalised and immersive carousel experience to our Mi Fans and consumers. ”
