LG G8s ThinQ, LG Q60 with triple rear cameras launched in India: Price, specs and more

LG has silently introduced two new smartphones in the country, the LG G8s ThinQ, and the LG Q60. The LG G8s ThinQ is a flagship device that runs on the Snapdragon 855 SoC and comes equipped with all the high-end features one would expect from it. It succeeds the LG G7 series of handsets that the company launched in May, last year. On the other hand, the LG Q60 is a mid-range handset that runs on the MediaTek Helio P22 processor and sports a triple-rear camera setup. The handset was initially announced ahead of MWC 2019 this year. 

LG G8s ThinQ specifications

The LG G8s ThinQ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and comes equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ OLED display that has a 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 3550mAh battery. In terms of optics, the device sports a triple rear camera setup that features a 13MP super wide angle camera, along with 12MP standard and a 12MP telephoto lens. On the front is an 8MP sensor, along with a secondary ToF sensor. 

LG Q60 specifications 

LG Q60 is a mid-range smartphone that comes equipped with a 6.26-inch 19:9 HD+ display and it runs on the MediaTek Helio P22 processor that is clocked at 2.0 GHz. It features 3GB RAM and comes with 64GB of internal storage. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 3500mAh battery. Coming to the cameras, the smartphone sports a 16MP main sensor on the back, along with a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP super wide angle camera. On the front sits a 13MP sensor. 

LG G8s, LG Q60 price and availability details

The LG G8s is priced at Rs 36,990, which means that it goes up against the likes of OnePlus 7T, Asus Zenfone 6Z and other devices. The handset is now available for purchase in India in a Mirror Black colour model. The LG Q60 will be up for purchase online and offline from October 1 in India and it is priced at Rs 13,490. The smartphone comes in a New Moroccan Blue colour model.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones.
