Oppo Reno with Snapdragon 855, 8GB RAM pops up on Master Lu benchmark

Highlights: Oppo Reno smartphone spotted on Master Lu benchmark. The phone is listed running on Snapdragon 855 and 8GB RAM. The handset supposedly features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The Oppo Reno smartphone is slated to launch on April 10 in China. However, there have been several leaks and reports about the device ahead of the official announcement. You can add another one to the list now as the phone has been spotted on Master Lu benchmarks. Some key specs of the phone have been revealed via both the listings. The benchmark listing suggests that the handset features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.  Oppo Reno is confirmed to launch in two variants, one powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and the other by the Snapdragon 710 SoC. This listing benchmarks the Snapdragon 855 powered version of the phone with model number CPH1919. Additionally, it is listed with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone manages to score 389,386 on the tests, which is expected from a high-end handset. While this is all the info the benchmark reveals, previous reports suggest that there could be a 5G variant of the phone as well, which is possible when the Qualcomm X50 modem is paired with the Snapdragon 855. The Snapdragon 855 powered OPPO Reno is also confirmed to feature liquid cooling. Oppo’s VP, Brian Shen, has confirmed that one of the phone’s models will sport a copper tube and support liquid cooling, which is most likely the Snapdragon 855-powered version. While the other variant will employ “heat-conducting gel and graphite sheet” for heat dissipation. The Snapdragon 855 powered version of the handset is also confirmed to come with 10x zoom capabilities and will be backed by a 4065mAh battery. Recently leaked case images of the phone also suggest that the device could sport a bezel-less display without a notch. It could feature a rather unique front camera design; triangular in shape when it pops-up. On the back, the phone is seen with a dual camera setup and is rumoured to feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor.  Related Reads: Oppo Reno with Snapdragon 855 to feature liquid cooling, leaked case renders and hands-on video suggest unique pop-up camera design
