Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1, and Realme 2 and Realme 1 now receiving stable ColorOS 52 update

Making good on its promise, the company is now seeding the new ColorOS 5.2 update for the Realme 2 smartphone, along with the Realme 1, Realme C1 and the Realme 2 Pro. Realme announced the news on its forums and also listed the changes that the update brings for all the devices. Do note that the update is being rolled out OTA, in a staged mannered and some users might not get the update for their phone immediately. Realme 2 Pro ColorOS 5.2 update: Coming to the ColorOS 5.2 update for the Realme 2 Pro, its build number is RMX1801EX_11.A.13 and it brings new features for the phone’s Battery, System, Camera and UI. A new Screen Battery Optimization mode will now be available on the phone, which, “dynamically adjusts the screen contrast and brightness for a balanced image quality with lower power consumption - except in Camera and Gallery apps. Balance Mode increases overall battery endurance by approx. 5%, and Strong Mode increases it by approx. 10%. Due to different usage conditions, actual results may vary.” The reboot option is also added in the phone’s shutdown interface and reminders have been optimised when Developer Options, Accessibility Mode and Device Manager are on. The flashing bar, on-going notification and text in the upper right corner for "Developer Options", "Accessibility" and "Device & Privacy" have also been turned off. The Realme 2 Pro (review) now supports Slow Motion mode in the camera and the device’s icons have been updated with new material design. Additionally, the handset’s Android Security Patch has been updated to December 2018. Realme 2 Pro users can check if their unit has received the update by heading over to the Update section in Settings. However, those who can’t wait can download the update file here and install it using the instructions provided by the company, which can be found here.  Realme 2 and Realme C1 ColorOS 5.2 update: The ColorOS 5.2 update for the Realme 2 and the Realme C1 brings the same changes. With the build number RMX1805EX_11.A.21, the phones Android Security Patch is updated to December 2018. There is now a single swipe notification dismiss feature that enables users to swipe right on a notification to dismiss it, along with a headset icon in status bar, reboot option in the shutdown interface, optimized reminders when Developer Options, Accessibility Mode and Device Manager on, improved frequency for touch screen and a "Smart Bar" for ‘faster’ app boots and multitasking. Additionally, one can now bring up the Google Assistant by holding down the power button for 0.5 seconds. Users of the two phones can check if their unit has received the update by heading over to the Update section in Settings. However, those who can’t wait can download the update file here and install it using the instructions provided by the company, which can be found here.   Realme 1 ColorOS 5.2 update: The new update for the Realme 1 comes with the build number: CPH1861EX_11.A.27. It updates the device’s Android Security Patch to December 2018 and adds optimisations that enable one to use the beauty and vivid mode on the phone simultaneously. It also adds author watermark for the camera. Realme 1 users can check if their unit has received the update by heading over to the Update section in Settings. 2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones.
