Call of Duty Mobile World Championship announced with over 2 million in prizes

Activision is bringing back its Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) World Championship and the competition starts on March 31, 2022. It is said to be designed for players of all skill levels and interested people can sign up to compete in multiple stages leading to the finale. There will be in-game achievements and rewards in the way for you to play and win. The total prize pool awaiting you is a whopping $2 million US dollars.

Announcing the event, Activision Mobile Division VP, Matt Lewis said, “Our massive, worldwide community of players continues to drive the team’s passion to deliver an epic Call of Duty: Mobile experience now and in the future. With all-new rewards and a prize pool of over $2 million dollars, everyone is invited to enjoy this year’s championships and we look forward to seeing who will be crowned victorious later this year.”

There will be multiple stages of the CODM World Championship: Namely, stage 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Activision notes that anybody interested can take part in the competition by just signing up at the Call of Duty website. Those who do will receive an all-new frame and calling card.

The championship will be held regionally across the world.

Stage One begins from March 31 and will have four qualifier rounds going all the way up to April 24, 2022.

To enter Stage Two, you must win 10 ranked multiplayer matches with a total of 60 points. The 2nd stage commences from May 12, 2022. You can check out the rest of the roadmap above.
