OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition to go on sale in India today: Specs, price, and more

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition was launched on October 10 alongside the regular variant. Now, the smartphone is all set to go on sale in India. The sale will begin at 12 PM today on the Amazon India website. The special edition of the OnePlus 7T Pro sports the signature McLaren 'papaya orange' accent design. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition sale will be live for just 70 minutes.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition specifications

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition features a 6.67-inch (1440 x 3120 pixels) AMOLED 90Hz display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, paired with an Adreno 640 GPU. The smartphone comes equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. 

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition runs Android 10. It includes custom wallpapers, a clock face for the always-on display, custom animations and a special papaya orange ‘horizon light' effect for notifications. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

On the optics front, OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition sports a triple rear camera setup: a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture + an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom + a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 117-degree field of view. It also has a 16MP selfie shooter. 

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition packs a 4085mAh battery that supports 30T fast charging technology. Further, the smartphone is equipped with  4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It weighs 206 grams.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition costs Rs 58,999 in India. As mentioned above, it will be made available on sale through Amazon.in for 70 minutes today, October 25. OnePlus is also providing multiple offers to buyers. Purchasers can avail EMI plans for up to 12 months. Further, they are also eligible for 10 percent discount (up to Rs 2,000) for Axis Bank and Citibank credit and debit cardholders. Plus, an additional 10 percent instant discount of up to Rs 400 with all Rupay banking cards.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones.
