Xiaomi launched its latest Android One device, the Mi A3 last week. Now, the smartphone is all set to go on sale in India for the second time. It will be sold via Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores. The Xiaomi Mi A3 is the successor of the Mi A2, which was also an Android One smartphone. The latest offering from Xiaomi is going up against the likes of the Realme 5 Pro and other similarly priced smartphones, but it has the stock Android advantage.
Xiaomi Mi A3 specificationsThe Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, courtesy of the waterdrop notch at the top. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with up to 6GB RAM. It has up to 128GB of internal storage.
On the optics front, Mi A3 sports a triple rear camera setup: a 48MP Sony sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens + an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 118-degree field of view + a 2MP depth sensor. On the front lies a 32MP selfie shooter. The rear camera can record 4K video at 30fps and slow-motion Full HD video at 120fps.
Xiaomi Mi A3 packs a 4,030mAh battery that uses a USB Type-C port for charging. It also supports Quick Charge 3.0 with 18W Fast Charge. Additionally, the company has included the 3.5mm audio jack, which was missing on the Xiaomi Mi A2.
Xiaomi Mi A3 price in India, and sale timingThe Mi A3 has been priced at Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The other option with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage will be made available at Rs 15,999. The phone comes in three colour options, namely, Kind of Gray, More Than White, and Not Just Blue.
