OnePlus has revealed just a little bit more about its plans for their upcoming TV. According to a statement released by the company, OnePlus TV is an Android TV with built-in Chromecast. The company also said that the TV will come with Google’s Play Store baked in, with the goal of elevating the smart TV experience in India. The company had already revealed the official logo, confirming that a TV was on the way. OnePlus has apparently been working closely with Google in its aim to be the company that provides a connected home solution for all. Huawei Mate 30 series to launch without Android OS, Google apps and services: Report

Even though Huawei was recently granted a 90-day extension to conduct business with US firms, the smartphone maker seems like it's still headed towards trouble. A Google spokesperson has apparently told Reuters that Huawei won’t be able to use the company’s Android OS, services and popular apps like Google Maps on the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 series of handsets. Apple apologises over listening to Siri audio snippets, fires contractors who heard the recordings

Apple is one company that takes pride in upholding the privacy of users in its ecosystem. However, last month, the company was called out for eavesdropping on users' conversations. It was reported that the Apple contractors were regularly listening to confidential Siri recordings, which included drug deals and recordings of couples making love. It was done as part of their job in providing quality control, or “grading”. Now, Apple has apologised for the privacy mishaps, and said it would no longer retain audio recordings of Siri interactions. Google removes CamScanner from Play Store after Trojan Dropper malware scare

There’s a good chance that you know about the CamScanner app, which is available on both Android and iOS. The ‘Phone PDF Creator’ or ‘Scanner to Scan PDFs’ app had over 100 million downloads, before being booted from the Google Play Store. Researchers at Kaspersky Labs found a malware in the recent versions of the popular OCR (optical character recognition) app. It was apparently harbouring an advertising library containing a malicious module that the Kaspersky researchers identified as ‘Trojan-Dropper.AndroidOS.Necro.n.’  As per the report, this particular malware module was previously spotted in a few apps that came preinstalled on some Chinese smartphones.  The malware module was spotted only on the Android version of the app and it seems like its iOS version is still available on the App Store, probably because of Apple’s strict app vetting policies. Huawei P30 is on its way to receive two new colour options. The European Patent Office has just received a couple of new colour options for the Huawei P30. One is almost a gradient, and the other is reminiscent of the “Panda” version of Google Pixel 2 XL. The new Huawei P30 could be released alongside the Huawei Mate 30 series next month. The gradient version appears to be a variation of the Huawei P30’s Breathing Crystal variant. On looking closely, a separate panel can be seen on the top third of the back. However, the effect is much more subtle than the other variant. We can easily spot a dual-tone treatment on the “Panda” Huawei P30. Last week Google rebranded Android, and for the first time since its original release ten years ago Android will now be shipping without a dessert name. The latest Android version will be called Android 10. The move signified that the launch of the stable version is just around the corner. Now, Phonearena reports that it will be released on September 3, 2019, which is just one week from now.  Android 10 could debut on September 3, and it could be released for the Pixel phones first, as expected. The Realme 5 was launched on August 20 alongside the Realme 5 Pro. Now, the Realme 5 is all set to go on sale in India through Flipkart and Realme.com at 12pm. According to a recent report by IANS, Samsung will launch the Galaxy M30s next month at a starting price of around Rs 20,000. Redmi K30 is coming, will have 5G support: Lu Weibing

Since its launch, the Redmi K20 has been the center of attention. Now, it looks like Redmi is already prepping for the launch of the K20 successors. It has officially been revealed that a 5G successor of the Redmi K20 is coming soon, and it will be called the Redmi K30. The announcement was made on August 25 by Lu Weibing, Redmi General Manager, on his Weibo page.  Weibing took to the Chinese microblogging site Weibo to announce the name of the K20’s successor. He also revealed that the Redmi K30 will have 5G support. Although it is rather exciting news, not much is known about the Redmi K30 right now. PS5 design leaked online, game developer confirms its a devkit

The internet has been abuzz speculating about the leaked patient image for the PS5. The leak, which comes courtesy of lets go digital, showcases the console with a prominent V cutout at the top that looks like it is designed for ventilation. It also looks like it has a number of USB ports upfront (5 to be precise) along with a disc drive. Above the disc drive there look to be some LED indicators. Matthew Stott, a veteran in the game development industry since 1992 and currently working as a senior artist at Codemasters confirmed on Twitter that the leaked render is indeed a devkit. Apparently, he and his co-workers “have a few in their office”.  He also suggested that the devkit could end up being the final unit, but we think Sony has some design tricks up its sleeves with the PS5.
