Vivo Y15 with 5000mAh battery, triple rear camera launched for Rs 13,990

Expanding its Y-Series of smartphones, Vivo has launched the Vivo Y15 smartphone for a price of Rs 13,900 in India. The phone’s USP is its massive 5000mAh battery and an AI-powered triple rear camera. The Vivo Y15 will be available in Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red colours across online platforms (Flipkart, Amazon.in, Paytm, Tata Cliq), all offline partner outlets and Vivo India E-store.

The phone will be available on EMI options with 0 percent interest with Bajaj Finserve, IDFC Bank, HDBFS, HDFC Bank, Home Credit and Pinelabs Credit/Debit cards. The lowest EMI option starts at Rs 1166. Reliance Jio customers can avail benefits worth Rs 4,000 along with 3TB data. There is an offer under which users can get extra Rs 1,000 off on exchange.

Vivo Y15 specifications:

The Vivo Y15 sports a 6.35-inch Halo FullView HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch, offering 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is equipped with Helio P22 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The phone runs Android 9 Pie based Funtouch OS 9 and houses a 5000mAh battery. The back panel wears a gradient design and has a square-shaped fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo Y15 sports a vertically-aligned triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with a lens having an f/2.2 aperture. There is an 8MP super-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field-of-view. The third 2MP depth sensor has a lens with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front is a 16 shooter with a lens having an aperture of f/2.0.

2020 iPhone could support time-of-flight 3D sensors: Report

While the 2019 iPhones are yet to be launched, the rumour mill is already churning out predictions for the 2020 iPhones. According to some reports, Apple is expected to release three new iPhones this year. As for 2020, the tech giant could supposedly incorporate time-of-flight (ToF) sensors in the future iPhones.
